Cherry Blossom Season in Taiwan - 2017 Sakura Series - Taichung (台中) - Xinshe District (新社區) [Travel in Taiwan 170304: Cherry Hill Slope ( 新社大南坡櫻花)]

Location: Xinshe District, Taichung

Fengyuan Station

The bus stop beside Fengyuan Station

My Travel Buddy and I boarded Bus 91 from Fengyuan Station because it has a shorter route than Bus 270.

How to get here: Board any train of the TRA and alight at:
a) Fengyuan Station: Transfer to Bus 91
b) Taichung Station: Transfer to Bus 270 at Gancheng bus stop

Both buses will make a stop at Fucheng Bridge (復盛橋). Show first to the driver the Chinese name of the bus stop to inform him about your destination.

Status of flowering: full bloom

After alighting at the Fu Cheng Bridge bus stop, we walked uphill.

Visitors climbed the island slope to have photos with the yaesakuras.

Luo-Mu Jie and the yaesakura tree

In visiting this place, one must remember that there are passing cars on the road.

I took this photo in the area where the trees have more flowers.

I want to hitchhike. Anyone?

The trees in this area have already spent most its flowers ...

... but the places is still nice to get good pictures.
